Orienteering is a tricky skill to learn, but once you master it, it’s really fun. Orienteering is when you use a map, and a compass to find certain locations that are hidden. You also have to count your steps to see if you went in the right direction. If you mess up a step, you could go completely off course.
Orienteering is a useful skill to learn, and it is fun. This outing took place in the fall, so there were many different colored leaves and trees. While going to our next location on the map we passed some cliffs, mountains, rivers, and creeks! We also saw some cool animals! The weather was also sunny, and there was a nice breeze.
