On almost every scout outing and event, someone has a camera to record what we did. Unfortunately, in almost every case, those photos are subsequently stored away in a box or on a computer, never to be seen again. When scouts try to look for photos of themselves, they often come back empty.

To counter this, we’re launching a new online photo gallery, containing photos of troop events over the past year, and eventually throughout the troop’s entire history. We’re still adding photos, and are always looking for more. If you have photos you’d like to give to the troop archive, please see the troop historian.

At Troop 711, we take privacy very seriously. We’ve taken several precautionary measures and checks to make sure that scouts’ pictures are anonymous and, in some cases, unavailable to those with malicious intent. Photos are invisible to search engines, and cannot be tagged or captioned. Additionally, subscribing to albums and high-resolution photo downloading have been disabled. If you would like a specific picture removed, please contact webmaster@troop711.net for more information.
