Troop 711 cannot function without the help and support of the fathers that take care of everything the scouts cannot. Whether the work involves troop-council relations, committee meetings, or general guidance and counsel, the dads are always an incredible benefit to the boy-led troop.
In order to become a registered adult and/or Merit Badge Counselor (MBC) in Troop 711, you must do the following:
1. Complete a BSA Adult Application
(http://www.boyscouts-ncac.org/openrosters/DocDownload.asp?id=33475&orgkey=1988 )
You MUST include your Social Security Number on the form in order for BSA to complete their background check.
Use position code "42". No fee is required for MBC's
